The audio files will help you to:- be reminded of the type of sound you are aiming for.
- remember which rhythm to use.
- practice slurs.
- check your tuning against a key note.
- think about patterns that occur within the notes of scales and arpeggios as well as the ones that you can feel when using your fingers on the strings.
- work aurally and kinesthetically. Follow the information in the glossary and work visually as well.
In order to help with the exam pieces and increase your listening skills and knowledge of different styles of music I have selected some YouTube videos of the tunes that some of you will learn.
